Mrs. Whidden has over thirty years of Health Care experience including over 15 years of experience in private practice allergy, asthma and immunology.  Other experience includes positions with Palm Beach County Health Department School Health, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Washington Hospital and Boca Raton Community Hospital.

She holds the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner certification, an MS in Nursing from the University of Central Florida Magna Cum Laude as well as a BS in Health Science Administration and a BS in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University.  She is a member of the Honor Society, is currently certified by Veterans Evaluation Services, Board Certified in Family Practice from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She has the Advanced cardiovascular life support,  and basic life support certifications and  has been certified in School Health, immunizations, chemical dependency.  Mrs. Whidden has been a preceptor for University of Central Florida, Georgetown University, Nova Southeastern University and Florida Atlantic University.

She has experience including emergency department, acute, chronic disease, critical care, code team, veteran health, chemical dependency and has utilized biofeedback and breathing techniques and nutrition to augment care.

Married, one child, two  grandchildren, animal lover with four dogs.
