This is the desensitization for allergy to specific foods such as peanut, or other nuts, milk. The process is done over an extended period of time. This is of a great benefit to children attending school. Food restrictions affect their quality of life. - Sublingual Immune Therapy (SLIT)
This is a type of therapy when a small quantity of antigens(drops) are placed under the tongue each day and can be done at home, this often works well for people that travel or find it difficult to come in for injections but want to treat their allergies.
